IO1 Articles in professional journals

The main aims for publications were - to provide research on topics of international significance across educational contexts; - to encourage collaboration by international teams of researchers working on common topics related to the project; - to prove the expertise of all involved parties, - to disseminate the results of the project and reach the wider audience, and to attract their attention to the contemporary issues addressed by the project. The results were presented at national and international conferences and published in the respective scientific journals.

It is a joint authorship book comprising of all the topics covered within the project, the research work as well as the outputs from the IP, training programmes and other activities. It is divided into sections representing the individual themes, written in the form of a handbook, which can be used as the study source by academics, students and other interested stakeholders. The authors are the academics from partner institutions, closely cooperating on the contents. IO3 Syllabi - curricula development

Innovative or new syllabi of subjects were prepared and pretested during Intensive Programmes (Summer Schools). They are an integral part of the participants study programmes. The syllabi are available in English as well as in the participants' native languages in each participants´ academic information system. New and/or adjusted syllabi were developed and structured in the way enabling joint teaching, e.g. in the form of virtual international teams, shared lessons between the academics of partners' institutions, lessons organised partly at home and partly at partner institutions. Learning outcomes and assessment were done in cooperation of involved partners. ECTS credits are fully transferrable and recognised. An integral part of syllabi innovations/design are e.g. students' assignments and case studies. Tandem teaching and work in international teams is reflected in the syllabi especially of language teaching. However, these adjustments also apply to other study subjects such as Diversity Management, Media Literacy or Business Communication Competences. The same applies on English for Academic Purposes and other language related subjects. These have been and are gradually being modified, especially in the sub-sections and requirements for the completion of the course. These adjustments include working in teams, tandem work, video conferencing. New syllabi of study subjects have already been created, such as Language Management or Nudge Management. The syllabus of Language Management has been included in the mandatory subject in the master's degree programme at Skoda Auto University and accredited with the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education.

New or updated syllabi:

Škoda Auto University: Language Policy in Business; Nudge Management; Diversity Management; Media literacy; Business Communication Competences; English B2 Level – Module 3

University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria: ISM English, Intercultural Web Projects, Intercultural Project Management

University of Applied Sciences Zwickau: Basics of Intercultural Communication; Studies of Intercultural Communication; Introduction to Intercultural Research; Portico/E-Portfolio Intercultural Learning Abroad

University of Siena: Banking, Insurance and Fintech

IO4 Didactical models, methodology and materials for training programmes

Training Programmes based on the research on the Critical Incidents training materials have been developed, pretested, adjusted and customised to meet the needs and requirements of the individual target groups, students, academics and administrative staff, companies/institutions working/employing foreigners. In support of this, the workshops for teachers (intensive programmes for teachers) were organised and what is more, there were a number of individual, one-to -one meetings between the project partners in cooperation on this training materials. The quality training material is a cornerstone of all business training and development activities. These classroom-ready workshop materials reflect the current situation and findings and can save trainers time for preparation. The training programmes are prepared in English, however, to provide broad support to the target groups, they shall be available in the participants local languages, too. There is also the possibility to expand in the future and transfer the training materials into e-learning support on the Moodle platform (or other). As trainers/teachers/educators are looking for quality training content in support to run a successful and effective workshop/lesson/training, the Didactical models, methodology and materials for training provide clear directions and suggestions on what to do and how to use the training programmes material. Trainers who will use the methodology and training materials will be able to provide accelerated learning solutions that have engaged all types of learners.

Example: Critical Incidents in a Financial Context Training for Banking students (University of Siena)
