Students with an excellent command of foreign language can apply for internships abroad (usually within the Volkswagen concern or the Škoda Auto group).

In both the bachelor and master degree programmes emphasis is placed on language acquisition and all students have to study at least two foreign languages, usually English and German. However, they can also select courses in Russian or Spanish. Most courses especially in the follow-on master study programme include the global business environment.

Students can also study abroad for one or two semesters at our partner universities and undertake internships in businesses within the EU with the support of the Erasmus+ programme. We also support worldwide collaboration mainly in China and Russia. Also in collaboration with Steyr University (Austria) and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland) all students have the opportunity of obtaining a double degree. Furthermore, the university also organises intensive short-term projects, summer schools and language courses in collaboration with foreign partners. Finally, all the programmes can be both studied in English.

Škoda Auto University puts emphasis on research-led teaching, which allows for the development of state-of-art degree programmes. Research provides students with the opportunity to experience a vibrant research environment, interact with scholars from various fields and become part of the dynamic global business context.

Academic staff are encouraged to participate in research projects and stay current among leading scholars in their field.
